Septic Systems

Septic tanks do have a life span, but if properly used and maintained, can last longer than what’s expected. Be careful of water usage in the winter time especially because a septic system works on evaporation through the soil and when the top of the ground is frozen a back up into the home will be a smelly, dirty mess to clean up. Scheduled pumping is a common service offered until the time finally comes to replace the tank.
